The purpose of this training is to raise the level of awareness of an active shooter event, and to increase organizations chances of survival. We will review statistical information of previous active shooter events and also discuss common vulnerabilities and fallacies within organizations.

The attendees will have the following take-aways:

• Learn potential vulnerabilities within their organizations
• How to prepare for an active shooter event (pre-planning, training, post event activities)
• How to deal with the aftermath and recovery efforts.
• Overcoming potential roadblocks
